“I tend to photograph the moments I find peace in. The juniper trees of Moab tell a story all their own. They are tough. They endure. They adapt. They grow at their own pace, and on their own terms… and I love them for it. They can teach all so much about how to move forward in life.
I’ve always found myself equally comfortable in the middle of the national park and in the middle of the city. You can find me standing still in both, observing the world as it keeps spinning.”
Ian Gauntt is an ICU Nurse in Denver, Colorado by night, and spends his days and nights off finding new ways to shape his creative voice through the lens of a camera. He is primarily drawn to Street and Nature photography and the sense of mindfulness they both require.
