COSMO CAMPBELL
Cosmo is a Vancouver based photographer and artist, who studied Graphic Design at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in, South Africa. Having travelled extensively, and lived on four continents, he has become a keen observer of the environments we inhabit and create.
Cosmo uses photography as a tool to explore the vulnerability of existence. His highresolution graphic images provide hauntingly peaceful scenes that aim to draw viewers into a state of contemplative solitude. In this series of nocturnal photographs shot under a full-moon he strives to create images that explore the comfort of solitude, scenes that expose the beauty that can be found in the loneliest of places.
The need for soulful reflection is what drives Cosmo to create images that are both soothing and evocative. His creative work has been awarded by many national and international award shows, and has been featured extensively in publications such as Applied Arts, Clio’s, Communication Arts and Graphis, amongst others.
