My name is Paola Peli and I am 44 years old. I am a floral designer, I take photographs and write poetry (in 2013 I won the first prize in the poetry section of the Fonopoli-Parole in movimento international competition). I’ve always loved photography but I only started shooting recently. I currently live in a beautiful location on Lake Garda with my husband, my dog, my three cats, my plants and flowers.
Being a floral designer and passionate lover of flowers and plants, my photographic research started from flowers. They represent for me peace and dream. So I decided to portray the flowers, especially in black and white.This is because black and white fully expresses my personality and at the same time expresses, in my opinion, all the poetry of flowers.
In this tragic historical moment it is in the flowers that I can find peace, dream and hope and, I believe like me, many people. Therefore, I hope that more and more people will fall in love every day with nature and have respect and care for it.
