Daniel Chen is a multi-faceted creative with a blended background in visual media and academic philosophy / editorial and documentary photographer / story-teller at heart / occasional editor and colorist for videos and short-films / retired philosopher / and a master photographer at Harper’s Bazaar top event studio.
His fashion photography has been seen in Vogue, The Knot, L’Officiel, Purple Haze, Vulkan Magazine, and Hypebeast Magazine. He is also the co-creator, editor, writer of mxdflz.com
Daniel’s creative interests include: exploring the consequences of complexity, the interplay between forces and affects, liminal spaces, corporeal time, and non-binary phenomena.
He holds a M.A. philosophy: psychoanalysis and third wave french feminism, additionally, a M.PHIL: french phenomenology and psychoanalysis – institute of philosophy, Leuven, Belgium.
