MONTY DAMES
Photography artist Monty Dames, was born in Brazil to South Africans parents. He lived in Latin America, Africa, Europe and North America which gave him a multicultural perspective on life and Art. He picked up Art from his mother who was an oil paint Artist. Starting off as an Artist Drawer he found passion in photography at a young age. Monty studied photography as an adolescent and considers himself as an aficionado for photography.

ARTIST STATEMENT
The nude has been a prominent subject of photography since its invention, and played an important role in establishing photography as a fine art medium. I believe the purpose of Art, it is higher that Art. What I am really seeking are masterpieces of humanity.
